Brendan Lynch (American, b. 1985) received his BFA and MFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York. He is a member of the Brooklyn-based Still House Group and focuses on abstractions in various media including tie-dyed canvases, graphite, and aluminum on wood. He works with mundane and unexpected materials such as surf wax, potato chips, and cigarette ash. The artist focuses “on the subtle moments in life that stand out over the thousands of other moments.” His works have been exhibited internationally.
